Lead QA Automation Engineer Key Accountabilities: • Provides technical leadership and test automation assistance to other QA engineers; raises the technical expertise of the QA team. • Assists in scoping, resource analysis, and scheduling tasks. • Defines standards for testing and test documentation. • Develops, executes, and maintains software test plans; test designs, documentation, test harness and test cases. • Works with Client Services, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to resolve process issues and product related anomalies. • Writes and maintains orderly test results and status reports. • Writes, clarifies and verifies software anomaly/ bug reports. • Conducts technical review of project and product documentation, tutorials, and support materials. • Completes other Software Quality Assurance tasks as assigned. • Problem Solving: Analyzes problems and generates alternative solutions quickly and accurately. Can sort through complexities and distinguish unimportant or irrelevant issues from key components. • Corporate Stewardship: Understands the impact of decisions and takes actions in the best interest of the company. Keeps the bottom line in mind while delivering high quality products; understands the mechanics of how a business works; is knowledgeable about policies, practices and trends; knows the competition. • Customer Orientation: Acts with the customer in mind.
