Software QA Analyst I , SC Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analysis & Design · Communicates with the product manager and others to understand new features · Prepares test plans for new features in close coordination with the assigned developer · Participates in Xeris analysis and design meetings as needed Quality Assurance · Configures test environments on multiple testing sites · Performs regression testing on Xeris releases. This will require creating, editing, and executing automated testing scripts in both real time and scheduled batch situations. · Analyzes automated testing results and performs manual testing if indicated · Reports testing failures to product manager · Creates scripts to assist development with debugging technical support issues · Provides frequent testing status updates to product manager and development manager Documentation · Creates and maintains documentation on script execution and outcome for every Xeris release. · Assists in the documentation of software release process and release schedule · Supports the education/training team with user instruction/ documentation as needed · Provides stakeholder communication as necessary Knowledge · Participates in automated QA testing user forums · Provides QA Wizard and other related instruction to technical support and developers · Expands technical and Xeris knowledge · Investigates new technology and alternative presentation options as it relates to release changes Experience and Skills: Qualifications: · The appropriate candidate should be a high-energy individual with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, in addition to the ability to meet deadlines. · Must also possess strong analytical and problem solving skills Education and/or Experience: · Bachelors Degree or equivalent Computer Skills: · Practical knowledge of HTML, SQL, and programming fundamentals preferred · Experience with software quality assurance and defect tracking preferred · Experience with creating, editing and implementing test scripts highly desired Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
