Sr S/W QA Engineer Functional engineering role includes clinical/manufacturing/device/ Quality software and computerized system validation and maintenance. Key Responsibilities ? Supervises appropriate Software Quality Assurance staff. Works with Software Quality Managers to understand priorities and plans/provides input to resource and time allocation accordingly. ? Plays key role in providing full guidance and direction on acceptability of Software Quality deliverables, based on requirements and templates given. Follows the correct corporate policy requirements. ? Acts as an effective team member who provides independent review on deliverables used to develop, implement and maintain clinical/ manufacturing/device/Quality software. ? Proactive involvement in continuous improvement activities for the software Quality life cycle while ensuring that software systems are defensible for regulatory requirements. Minimum Education and Experience: • BSCS, other technical degree, or equivalent experience (required) • Master's degree (preferred) • 8-10 years experience in software systems • 5+ years software testing experience (required) • 3+ years software quality assurance experience (required) • 2+ years software development experience (preferred) • 2+ years in a government-regulated (e.g. FDA, FAA, SEC, DoD) and/or certified (CMM/CMMI, ISO, CobiT, SPICE) software engineering environment (required) Working conditions: • General office environment, with occasional domestic, or international, travel to other BSC facilities and/or meetings and conferences.
