Enterprise Software Quality Assurance II * Tests alpha and beta versions of Enterprise Applications and Enterprise Reports. Tests break/fix solutions. * Executes functional, application, regression and performance tests. Trains key personnel on Enterprise Application releases. Creates release notes and other documentation as appropriate for distribution to user community. * Researches, develops, and enhances the business requirements for the product features being tested, including how the users use the features and their performance requirements for the features. Provides input on projects that effect enterprise applications. Evaluates and communicates their impact on personnel, processes and systems. * Designs test cases for assigned modules, builds test procedures/ systems and automates tests where possible. * Develops and maintains quality metrics and statistics to determine software quality. * Assists collaboratively with Business Analysts in Enterprise Applications to perform business analysis and create and coordinate sign off on requirements documents. Assists in prioritization of requests and backlog items. Specialized Knowledge and Skills * Ability to quickly learn and use enterprise software applications to perform testing prior to business user handoff. * Advanced software and process QA skills. * Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – specifically as it pertains to QA. * Excellent application knowledge and user awareness. * Able to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities. Equipment and Applications Knowledge * PCs, SalesLogix, RightNow, KnowledgeSynch, Scribe, Great Plains, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel Experience Required: Typically requires three to five years experience in development, research or product testing, or other related discipline. Specifically requires two to three years experience in systems analysis, product testing, or other related area. Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent work experience.
