Web / Mainframe Tester Must work closely with business area clients, systems support groups, business analysts and developers in identifying appropriate testing strategies and coverage for delivery of high quality electronic products to external and internal customers. Successful candidate must have a good understanding of and proven experience with functional testing techniques and methodologies. Candidate must have the ability to learn our business processes quickly and lead projects for testing as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • B.S. degree in computer-related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience and demonstrated positive performance may serve as a substitute. • Minimum of 3-5 years work or equivalent verifiable school experience testing open systems web-based and/or mainframe based application software. • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to carry out assignments without close supervision and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, be highly organized, and detail-oriented. • Ability to think creatively and follow through on all phases of initiatives - reqmts. thru implementation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Experience and familiarity with working in the Enterprise Development and Test environments. -Exposure to Loan Originations, Disburs., Private Credit and Servicing financial support systems. -Experience with HP/Mercury Interactive QTP, Quality Center, LoadRunner, Business Object, Filenet, MS Office Suite, MS Project and Visio. - Experience with Oracle, accessing data using SQL from Access, SQL Anywhere or MS SQL Server. -Experience with XML, XML Spy, WEB Svc. Testing and Scripting tools a plus. - Programming and/or code debugging experience with CA-Intertest or IDEs such as Eclipse or Visual Studio a plus.
