Web QA Engineer Position Responsibilities: - Analyze project requirements. - Develop, execute and analyze test results for manual and automated tests. - Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements. - Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk. - Perform white and black box testing. - Run and analyze performance tests. - Create and maintain defects in Defect Tracking System. - Perform tests to flush out any product issues per defined product functionality. - Create test plans and test data. - Write and maintain test automation scripts where applicable. Position Qualifications: - BSCS or greater technical degree. - Solid understanding of web technologies and web applications required. - Previous experience working in a start-up/ramp-up environment. - Strong analytical, trouble shooting, and creative problem solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast paced hosted environment. - High energy team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written). - Exposure to IIS, .ASP, .NET Web Applications and SQL Server. - Database skills with SQL knowledge. - Excellent skills in entering bug reports which can be easily understandable by others. - Flexibility and positive attitude.
