Software QA Automation Developer Job Description: · Develop and maintain automated Test Cases using Mercury QTPro and Winrunner. · Perform interactive testing on Windows and UNIXWARE platforms using various browsers. · Train and assist manual testers with running automated tests as needed. Required Experience: * Experience testing multi-tier eCommerce software products written in Java * Experience with developing automated test harnesses and test cases * Experience with querying and extracting data from relational databases (Oracle and/or Mysql) * Experience with QTPro, WinRunner and other test automation tools. * Strong experience in UI and Business requirement/rules testing. * Experience in analyzing defined requirements for testability Required Skills: * Strong understanding of QA Methodology * Strong attention to detail, regarding web design and usability * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Self starter, self-motivated, independent, and proactive * Ability to operate effectively both independently as well and within a team * Solid working knowledge of web applications and client -server technology * Advanced knowledge of SQL queries * Basic JAVA, VB Script and TSL programming skills * 3+ years working knowledge of UNIX, SCO, AS400 and Windows * Knowledge of the Auto Aftermarket Industry and inventory management a strong plus.
