Sr QA Engineer - Help consumers take an active role in managing their health by providing objective healthcare information and lifestyle information. - Make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers. - Enable employers and health plans to provide their employees and plan members with access to personalized health and benefit information and decision support technology that helps them make informed benefit, provider and treatment choices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ' Makes decisions and quality assessments that have an impact on the success of the entire project ' Works with other QA Team members to Determine database and ETL testing strategy and approach ' Demonstrates full understanding of development lifecycle and quality processes appropriate for an seasoned experienced quality professional ' Participates in database and ETL testing and code reviews as necessary with development and other QA Engineers to improve product and code quality ' Acts as senior member of team, offering guidance and testing knowledge to junior QA staff ' Works with development engineers to diagnose and isolate defects ' Designs, constructs and implements database and ETL tests that thoroughly exercise the product Required Experience: ' In-depth knowledge of T-SQL ' Knowledge of SQL Server and database applications is critical ' Advanced software troubleshooting skills as demonstrated by experience working on heterogeneous environments ' Detailed knowledge of software testing processes and the tools needed to carry out assigned tasks ' Capable of understanding the entire product architecture (data model and ETL), and of leveraging that understanding to design the most effective and efficient methodologies for testing the product ' Capable of generating tracking metrics ' BS in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience ' 5+ years QA experience in software development ' Experience using Informatica a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
