Sr. QA Test Engineer - Black Box Automation Exp, Agile/Scrum, C#, AJAX Responsibilities: * Perform as a productive Team member on one or more Scrum Teams * Identify and confirm test requirements (utilizing product specifications, previously reported customer defects and master task lists). * Develop test plans, test cases, automated scripts, test harnesses and expected results. * Interface with co-workers in preparing for and executing the tests. * Execute tests and provide test plan results. Report daily progress. * Identify, document, and raise issues (i.e. test schedule late to plan) as they arise, participate in issue resolution. * Re-test and confirm defects reported as fixed in new product builds and deployments. * Interface with Development in resolving defects as needed. * Interface with Technical Support in re-testing customer reported call tickets or defects. * Update test plans and test cases with customer reported defects for QA process improvement. * Review Help and Documentation prepared by the technical writers. * Assist in maintaining testing environments. * Establish test environments including database requirements, hardware and software. Qualifications: * Education: BSCS and/or equivalent experience. * Software and /or hardware experience in client/server environment: 4-6 years * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (XP, Vista, 2003, 2008). * Extensive experience with automation tools (TestComplete, Rational, Mercury, etc.) * Proficient in writing, executing and validating test scripts. * Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. * Strong communication and organization skills. * Must be a self-starter, quick learner, attentive to details, able to mutli-task, and have excellent initiative. * Must have a working knowledge of Scrum/Agile.
