Quality Assurance Director Minimum requirements: # Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Quality Management or related field. Advanced Degree preferred. # Fluent English (oral and written) # Spanish (oral) desirable # 12+ years compliance management experience in Quality operations in biotechnology, preferably blood banking, diagnostics, medical device or bio-pharmaceutical industries. # Experienced oversight of change control process is required. Demonstrated improvements in change control efficiency. # Extensive experience with quality oversight of validation activities. Experience with manufacturing equipment, method and process validation as well as product validation as part of design control. # Experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment is required. # Sound and practical judgment in the interpretation and application of regulations and standards. # Strong analytical and written skills, proficient in MS Word and MS Excel software. # Must have exceptional planning and organizing skills, manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks, taking the initiative to solve problems quickly, and knowing when to obtain assistance. # Experience with continuous quality improvement methodologies and tools.
