SOFTWARE QA MANAGER A detail focused manager who can: * manage medium sized QA teams on multiple continents * accurately track and report on progress of QA efforts to upper management * mentor junior, midlevel, and senior QA engineers while providing all with solid career paths * run cross functional release status meetings * push back on management in the interest of quality * be an advocate for the user, QA team, and product as a whole * work cross functionally with product development and product management Position Description Responsible for the effective development and implementation of programs to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements. Administers change control process of zero defect software development. Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation. Administers problem management process including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution. Makes recommendations to superiors regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency.
