Software Quality Assurance Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Essential skills: Ø Seasoned quality management experience in a complex systems environment. Ø Demonstrated ability to develop and establish departmental standards and procedures and enact change. Ø Proven ability to build teamwork to increase productivity. Ø Skilled at working with mission-critical information and system applications. Ø Knowledge of system design concepts, software development processes, and software testing tools and processes. Ø Ability to lead SDLC practices and methodologies. · Beneficial Skills: Ø Familiar with life insurance or financial services industry. · General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ø Strong values, highest degree of personal integrity. Ø Works effectively with others, treats others with courtesy and respect; team player. Ø Performs with a customer-service mindset. Ø Adjusts and is flexible to meet changing needs and demands of internal and external clients. Ø Establishes high quality standards for own work; detail-oriented. Ø Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills with both a technical and non-technical audience. Ø Ability to think analytically about problems assigned or encountered. Education, Training, and Experience: Ø Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred. Ø Ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience managing both people and projects and have at least 7 years of systems quality assurance or business systems analysis experience of an increasingly complex nature.
