Senior SQA Engineer SUMMARY Design and implement test architectures of products and systems. Including, but not limited to, development and execution of test scripts, regression testing and the design and administration of quality assurance. DUTIES * Research new features and technologies for analysis and implementation. Perform feasibility studies on new technology and product concepts. * Develop test scripts for regression of existing functionality, bug isolation and new functionality. * Interact with software and hardware engineers to test software changes and defect resolutions. * Design, document and execute test cases and plans at the module and subsystem level. * Perform installation, upgrade, unit, functional, system, integration, performance and regression testing. * Support and integrate hardware and software along with client software and verify system functionality. * Review and provide feedback on internal specifications and external documentation. * Design and develop test tools, simulators, and test harnesses. * Lead the customer qualification efforts. Work with customer to determine the test system architecture and expectations. Ensure resource and equipment availability and deliver customer expected documentation package securing product approval. * Provide technical assistance to other departments to enable accomplishment of product development objectives. Required Skills Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Minimum Formal Education: BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. Experience (type & duration): 6-9 years in an engineering system test environment within broadband, Video on Demand, IP Networking or telephony products industry.
