Automatic Test Equipment Engineer Duties and Responsibilities: *Support the ATE mechanical and electrical design. Update/add to the electrical schematic, mechanical drawings and bill of materials. Follow-up on purchased parts, machined parts, etc. Power up and troubleshoot ATE boxes. *Create and/or update the ATE documentation. Manage the version description document, validation procedure and report and calibration procedure and more. *Support Production Upload the ATP into the ATE application. Program the ATE test sequences. Set-up the "Virtual Instrument" Train and answer the technician questions. Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements - Must understand the electrical circuits used in signal conditioning like Filters, Power supplies, Data Acquisition Devices. - Must have experience with measurement devices like strain gage, linear transducer and more. - Must have experience with controller devices like Proportional Integral and Derivative circuits and other. - Must be able to work with OrCad Capture, Solidworks or Pro-E and Microsoft Office - Must have a strong experience with Microsoft Visual Basic and C++ which includes Software Naming Convention, Object Oriented Programming and Microsoft Windows API (Application Programming Interface). - Must have experience with National Instrument Data Acquisition product. - Must have good communication and conceptual skills. - Ability to read and write English proficiently. -Must have at least five years experience in related field. -BS in Engineering or equivalent degree required.
