Quality Engineer SKILLS ' BS/MS in Engineering / Technical-related field. ' 2-5 years experience in Quality Engineering ' Plastics processing and plastic insert injection molding experience ' Experience with filtration components a plus. ' Certified Quality Engineer (application certifications a plus) ' Knowledge and Ability to apply the AIAG developed std. such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC ' Six Sigma Green Belt status preferred. ' Knowledgeable about Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ' Knowledge and familiarity with TS16949 / QS / ISO. ' Trained Auditor for TS16949 a plus. ' Application of Basic and Advanced Statistical tools ' Extensive Problem Solving Experience. ' Knowledge of mistake proofing, failsafing and verification processes. ' Must possess strong leadership qualities ' Strong PC skills including the use of Statistical software such as Minitab. ' Knowledge of and familiarity with Quality Software program. ' Must be able to maintain a professional, competent image when interfacing with operators, customers and management. ' Results oriented. ' Ability to start, make and persist with analytical decisions and courses of action with little direction; identify priority work and finish while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency with minimum supervision. ' Ability to work in a demanding environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously. ' Ability to lead continuous improvement projects. ' Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events. ' Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency. ' Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills; including the English language. Creative at developing and presenting metrics. ' Excellent administrative/organizational skills.
