Quality Assurance Engineer - Web Software [Responsibilities] - Execute functional, features, and regression testing across multiple projects: Online web sites, CD/DVD products, Business Systems, and Editorial content based on test plans and test cases during a 2 to 4 weeks test cycle. - Document, track, and verify defects and fixes across products, platforms, and release candidates. - Provide daily project status and report issues to QA Manager. - Assist in developing and maintaining test plans and test cases. - Assist in maintaining QA lab. [Candidate Profile] - Experience in software and Web application (Black box) testing. - Understanding of HTML, XML, SQL - Knowledge of QA process. - Knowledge of automated test tools including but not limited to Regression Testing, Load Testing, and Functional Testing (preferred). - Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Macintosh Platforms. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Strong and reliable team player. - Possess an analytical mind. - Detail and focus oriented with good organizational skills. - Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. - Ability to handle repetitive tasks. - Work independently with minimal supervision. - Quick learner and able to follow instructions. - Must be flexible in working additional hours when required.
