*Location:   Salt Lake City, Utah*

*Duration:  7 months*



Requirement Details:



Desktop support responsibilities include;

Imaging new PCs or laptops, hardware/software setup and configuration,
remote control, and phone support to trouble shoot and resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a hands-on Desktop
Support Technician working in an enterprise class environment with personal
computers, laptops, and blackberries.

Must be competent in troubleshooting hardware issues, connectivity issues,
and application issues in *Windows XP operating systems in a
Novell*environment. Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate
well verbally
and in writing. Needs excellent attention to detail and the ability to learn
new technologies quickly, have a good understanding of networking
essentials. Direct experience with *Windows XP, Novell Netware, ZEN, Console
One, Outlook, and MS Office products through 2007* required.



Desired Qualifications:

*Microsoft MCSE and A+ certifications.* Troubleshoot complex hardware,
connectivity and application issues.

. Provide second-level support to the Help Desk for complex PC issues.

. Delegate responsibilities to appropriate team members and provide status
to supervisors and clients. . Determine the appropriate analysis, modeling,
and techniques for obtaining results.

. Recommend solutions regarding new technologies and system solutions for
meeting business needs. . Build new PC assets in accordance with business
requirements, replace outdated equipment and manage technology obsolescence.

 . Image new PCs or laptops, hardware/software setup, configuration and
remote control. . Assist in implementing moderately complex to highly
complex projects. . Develop processes and procedures according to corporate
standards.

 . Consult with Clients on various application/software options. . Gather
data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business
impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those
solutions.
