Software Quality Assurance 1. Analyze requirements, develop cost estimates and provide proposal inputs for Process Assurance activities in response to RFQ/RFP. 2. Perform audits and reviews of Engineering development process performance. This includes the effective tailoring of department standard audit and review tools to specific projects. 3. Perform audits and reviews of Engineering development work products (documents, data, etc.). This includes the effective tailoring of department standard audit and review tools to specific projects. 4. Identify variances from established standards and processes and track problem resolution to closure. The incumbent will facilitate compliance to Engineering standards through various levels of requests for corrective action. They will be proactive in identifying potential project problems and assuring that they are addressed. 5. Collect data on assigned projects and report to project management on a periodic basis to provide insight into project performance and potential problems. Data is also provided to management to be aggregated to provide insight into overall process conformance. 6. Identify areas of improvement to related business processes and recommend process change.
