Only Locals preferred Job Description and Skills: * The developer will automate the process to create an output NCIC QW type transaction message(QW) to be sent to the NCIC message switch from the Livescan submissions received at our MAFIS Transaction Controller * The QW is an NCIC inquiry transaction which requires mandatory datafields i.e.; Name, DOB, SID, etc. * The developer will be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, Oracle and XML/XSL, IBM Websphere/MQ. * The developer will be proficient with database transactions using IBM Websphere, MQ, and Oracle with Java. * The developer will be proficient with reading and understanding Functional Specifications, Detail Design Documentation, and Entity Relationship Diagrams. * The developer will be familiar with Web Services. * The developer will be familiar with converting XML files into HTML. * The developer will be familiar with IBM/Websphere/MQ. * The developer will be familiar with code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices. * The developer will be proficient with Stored Procedures, Triggers and database design for Oracle Server.
