SQA Engineer (Java .Net QTP Loadrunner)* Responsibilities • • Candidate will work with the development team to help troubleshoot coding problems and perform simple tool development and test automation tasks for individual projects or components • Candidate will assist with the development, testing, and implementation of software quality plans and the evaluation of quality plans at the component level and must be able to work with individual developers to technically understand the testing necessities of a component • Candidate will need to debug and step through major components of the product being tested. Examples include the ability to identify and locate resource leaks and/or out of bounds conditions • Candidate will train and mentor up and coming engineers Qualifications • 6+ years experience with formal SQA methodologies and an excellent understanding of test methods, and SQA best practices. • 3+ years of experience with coding (C/C++, .NET, Java) and automation tools. • 3+ years testing of server side Java development or SQA engineering. • Deep understanding of J2EE platform and good knowledge of the SQA automation tools (i.e. Silk/Rational/Mercury). • API/Web Services testing knowledge and experience is required • Clear understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies. • Database query tools, including the ability to write complex SQL queries • Client/server/ database architecture • Able to articulate strong stance for product quality and customer satisfaction, balancing business goals and commitments with quality objectives. • Proven track record of delivery and commitment to customers, management and leadership effectiveness. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Extraordinary work ethic and dedication is of crucial importance. • Must be able to work effectively in globally distributed team structure • Be able to isolate defects effectively and provide specific conditions for reproducibility in the debugger • Candidate must also have the ability to give presentations of work at QA meetings in a clear and concise manner Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
