Senior Quality Assurance Engineer o Establish and assist with implementation of quality assurance process. o Lead and manage various quality assurance projects. o Work from business requirements and technical design documents to design test cases and test plans. o Execute test cases and analyze results. o Use automated testing tools to write and execute automated tests for specific parts of the application, and analyze results. o Write applications for specific parts of the application (including Web Services and API testing), and analyze results. o Work with other company staff members in a positive, cohesive manner. o Log defects and supply Development staff with feedback and information required to correct issues and problems. o Provide estimates of work and plan resource needs o Provide status and updates o Develop strategies to increase quality and efficiency within the Quality Assurance group Requirement & Experience • 7+ years of formal Quality Assurance testing experience. • Experience using formal QA processes as part of a formal software development lifecycle. • 3+ years experience with automated testing tools. • 3+ years experience with automated defect tracking tools. • 3+ years testing and working with web-based applications. • 3+ years testing products developed using Microsoft programming languages. • 3+ years testing SQL based products. • Some programming experience, writing testing tools such as test harnesses, proxies, etc. • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
