Test Engineer Essential Functions: Collaborates with engineers on the requirements for design validation testing, potential design changes, product specifications, serviceability of products and assembly requirements. Set-up, run and inspect engineering design validation tests. Install, remove and analyze mechanical tests, hydraulics and components. Prepare professinal engineering Test Reports. Design of testing systems and fixturing. Maintain, calibrate and set- up testing equipment. Maintain records and files to support tests, equipment and instrumentation. Maintain proper communications, administration, discipline and other day to day procedures. Develop record and maintain proper work instructions for lab in order to maintain ISO9001 certification. Must continuously maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity. Ability to perform failure analysis hydraulic, mechanical, electro- mechanical and electrical systems. Job Requirements : - Bachelors degree (BS) in engineering or a related technical discipline - Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related experience in a Hydraulic Lab testing environment. - High degree of mechanical aptitude, including plumbing/piping skills. - Previous experience with testing of hydraulic components beneficial. - Previous experience with hydraulic testing procedures, equipment and requirements beneficial. - Proven written and verbal communication skills - Ability to perform in a team environment. - Computer skills required include Word, Excel and Visual Basic.
