QA Engineer Job Responsibilities: * Develop and exercise Test Plans and Test Cases * Responsible for the functional quality of technology releases of various projects/products * Executing all aspects of QA processes. * Assisting QA Engineers, QA Leads and Test personnel including contractors. * Generating test data and metrics. * Works with minimal supervision * Interface with Development Engineers and Project Management and customers to help create high quality products. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 - 4 years as a QA or SQA Engineer * Bachelors degree in technology related field (IT, CS etc.) and/or job appropriate experience. * Sound understanding and utilization of software development life-cycle * Thorough knowledge of QA processes with excellent testing skills * Communicating test status and analyzing test results * Strong self starter with the ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize and work well under pressure * Excellent communication and people skills * Experience in the software development lifecycle and familiarity with bug tracking/CRM tools * Excellent problem solving * Clear verbal and written communication * Strong technical, organizational, analytical skills * Detail-oriented personality * Experience with client/server testing is a plus * Process Development and Documentation * Defect Tracking processes, and administration.
