Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities: * Interface with Product Development Team concerning test plans, test procedures, and operational software issues; * Investigate and analyzes software problems and generate bug / issue reports as needed; * Prepare test reports that summarize the overall test activity and results for a specific software build; * Document regression test (maintains the subsystem test document) and individual test procedures; * Perform regression test of software subsystems; * Establish and/or maintains software benchmarks for performance analysis; * Act as a liaison to the business group to ensure that software meets the requirements and assists in managing changes to the requirements as needed; * Write design documents based on analysis and direction from the development team; * Manage bugs that affect the production environment to make sure they are identified and corrected with minimal impact on the primary development effort; * Manage releases of software including creation of release notes (does not do actual deployment); and * Assist in training of users on new releases, as needed. Job Requirements: * 4 - 6 years experience in software quality assurance including all phases of testing, documentation, and release management; * BS degree in computer sciences, software design, engineering, information systems, related field or comparable experience; * Experience in web based and client based systems, testing tools (automated and manual), and issue tracking systems; * Strong SQL query skills using SQL Server 2005; * Personal Characteristics include: self motivated, thorough, articulate, detail-oriented, creative, personable, and team-player; * Test Documentation standards; * SQL, TSQL; * Configuration Management; * Project Management Tools; and * Automated Software Testing Tools (QTP, Rational, or other).
