Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Essential Responsibilities: - Manage overseas (Asia) suppliers through: - Reporting on suppliers quality metric performances - Ensuring standard supplier in-process metric reports - Advising on continuous process improvement programs - Audit suppliers and key sub-tier suppliers on a regular basis - Generate weekly quality supplier reports based on supplier provided weekly data and functional audit data Essential Requirements: * BS Degree or equivalent in Electronic/ Mechanical or Quality Engineering * Min 7 years experience as a Quality Assurance/Control Engineer * Has mechanical and electrical supplier management experience * Must be willing to travel to Asia * Competency with quality systems and measurement tools such as FMEA, ISO, 6 Sigma etc. o Demonstrated experience with ISO900x, WEEE, RoHS, and REACH compliance o Demonstrated understanding of quality metrics, process characterization and mapping, Product Quality / Reliability management / improvement techniques, LEAN Manufacturing, DFM/DFT processes, and Continuous Process Improvement o Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) o Familiarity with the use of ERP / Document Control systems (e.g. SAP, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Acrobat) o Demonstrated in depth knowledge and experience of PCB manufacturing processes Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
