Manager QA The Quality Manager is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and approving the following new and revised SOPs and forms, validation records, Quality Control records, Change Control, Error Management, Audits, SOP deviations, Training Plans, and other activities as assigned. This individual will assure timely and accurate corrective action and follow up to failures. The Quality Manager will participate in the development of work plans, oversee Quality Assurance meetings, committee meetings, and quarterly Council meetings, and other meetings of regulatory interest. This position will facilitate change control, review, and approve Change Control documentation. This position requires a Bachelors degree, Master's degree preferred. ASQ certification is high desirable. At least 2 years experience in a QA role in an FDA regulated environment is desirable; experience in a Blood Center setting or Transfusion Service setting is highly desirable. Work requires a thorough understanding of FDA, State, and Accreditation agency requirements for the Blood and Tissue Industries. This knowledge must be frequently used in the decision that directly impact the organizational Regulatory compliance. Frequent contact internally and externally with other sites and employees of ITxM to give counsel, consult, and influence decisions. Excellent oral and written communications is a must.
