Test Engineer, SQA • Review Product Requirement Documents and Functional Specifications • Design and execute test cases. • Evaluate test results and manage defects. • Write test cases for system functionalities and shared topologies, writes automation scripts and processes for the running of the test cases, executes test cases, evaluates testing results, files and manages defects through product test cycles, and supports team members. • Develops test strategies for testing new features/ technologies. Able to adapt to improvement processes and extend the impact and effectiveness of test design concepts or new approaches to execution of current projects. Must have good communication skills. • Design, write, review test cases that include expected results/ behavior of the FOS FC switch functions/features. • Design, configure and install test equipments, load appropriate firmware versions, operating systems, initiators and create fabric topology during test cycles. • Execute test cases per test plan, collecting trace, raslog data on faults and defects reporting. • Support development in debugging and recreating issues, isolate root cause of issues moving onto resolution of the issues. • Plan regression strategy and complete automated regression suites per test cycle. • Review Tech Pub documentations for accuracy and completeness during each product release. • Test plan and Test design preparation through review of engineering level documents, execution of test cases through the product release phases, and ownership of test networks/fabrics and configurations. Education and Experience • BSEE/CE or equivalent work experience. • 6-7 years direct hands-on test experiences on Ethernet and IP routing. • Strong working experience in Linux, Solaris, Window OS system environment. • Strong knowledge and working experience in Ethernet networking protocols. • Familiar with SQA test process, regression test, Ethernet test equipment. • Have required technical debug skill to analyze the defect root of cause, optimize the test configuration for feature test • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skill, and good team player • Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
