Software Quality Engineer Job Description We are currently searching for a Software Quality Engineer or SQE. This individual will be involved in the preparation, review and approval of the software development cycle. This includes: documentation, performance of software process and compliance audits, performance of code and software development folder reviews, control of the building and release of software, witnessing and performing software verification and validation, and preparation of SQA plans. The person selected for the role will interface with internal and external customers. Requirements 4 year college degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred but not essential. Knowledge of SEI SW-CM or CMMI-SW process models. An understanding of Computer Software lifecyle: creation, control, deployment, and testing. Knowledge of AS9006 preferred.
