Software Test / Automation Engineer Responsibilities also include assisting in the development of automation scripts, understanding manual software testing, performing automated tests and evaluating results, triage of software defects, and software development using C++, MATLAB, Ruby, and TestPartner programming languages. Proficiency in C/C++ , MATLAB, Ruby, LabVIEW, TestPartner, or other similar languages, experience with multi- threaded programming, and with Object Oriented Design (OOD) desired. Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience.
