careers/ Software Tester Requirements: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or computer related discipline 5+ years in the following areas of software testing: performance, exploratory, integration, functional, system, regression, user acceptance * 3+ years of web applications testing * 3+ years of automated software testing * 3+ years of hands-on experience with HP (Mercury)’s LoadRunner * 2+ years of VBScript programming - must be able to develop automated scripts with a programmatic approach * A solid understanding of relational databases * Practical experience with Microsoft Windows OS family (Windows 2000/2003/2008/ XP/Vista/7), Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, IIS, MS Office * Good knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, and software development lifecycle * Good knowledge of automated testing frameworks, test automation processes, and fundamentals of test automation * Ability to set up and configure test environments without significant assistance * Attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting ability and strong organizational skills * Proactive communication within the organization and ability to gather and understand technical requirements from different sources – Product Management, R&D, Client Services, Technical Support, IT.
