Software Quality Engineer ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Work closely with product development teams, partners and customers to define test plans and procedures * Create and execute requirements based manual test procedures in bench and field test environments * Develop and execute automated unit level and module level test drivers * Develop and adopt tools to assist in software testing * Organize and maintain defect logging and tracking for the product * Analyze test results and users' feedback, and communicate with product development teams to assist in problem resolution Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: * Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, or above/equivalent education or experience * Strong academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) * Superior organizational and analytical skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Relevant experience or training in software quality assurance processes ,methodologies and tools * Relevant experience or training in creating test plans, conducting usabilities test, and/or writing test scripts * Relevant experience with a defect tracking system such as Jira or ClearQuest DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: * Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5) * Relevant work related experience in Automotive environment * Relevant work related experience in testing Mobile devices * Relevant work related experience in developing automated test drivers * Relevant experience and/or training in scripting languages * Relevant experience with HP Quality Center Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
