Senior Software Quality Automation Engineer Major Responsibilities • Work with engineering and product management to review functional and technical requirements, and use these to create thorough test scripts • Work with QA Manager to develop metrics and reports on automation coverage and establish goals for continuous improvement Job Requirements • BA/BS in Information Technologies preferred by not required, depending on related discipline or equivalent experience • 3+ years experience designing, creating and maintaining automation scripts in a SilkTest environment; other automation tool experience will be considered • Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies • Familiarity with key testing concepts such unit testing, system, regression, and user acceptance testing • Experience in testing and automation in Microsoft web-centric technologies including IIS Server and MS SQL Server • Ability to learn new applications quickly, and relate to the concepts of calendaring and scheduling • Ability to plan and manage own work, balancing multiple projects requiring coordination across a number of teams Beneficial Skills • Experience with automated testing in the areas of Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Localization experience and/or Multi-lingual (French/ German/Spanish) • Commercial (ISV) software experience • Understanding of SQL Schemas and database queries to support testing initiatives Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
