Entry Level Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Major Responsibilities

• Set up and configuration of server and testing environments •
Create, modify and execute test cases and test data • Reporting on
testing results and providing feedback for improved processes •
Depending on skill sets, working with code and data to troubleshoot
issues

Job Requirements • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent • Strong
problem solving and debugging skills • Experience and familiarity with
Microsoft web-centric technologies including IIS Server and MS SQL
Server • Ability to learn new applications quickly, and relate to the
concepts of calendaring and scheduling • Hands-on personality: Self-
motivated, independent and proactive • Familiarity with key testing
concepts such unit testing, system, regression, and user acceptance
testing • Willingness to relocate to office location (Traverse City,
MI or Framingham, MA)

Beneficial Skills • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and/or Lotus
Notes • Experience with performance tools such as Open STA •
Familiarity with Agile development concepts • Understanding of SQL
Schemas and database queries to support testing initiatives • Owning
an “I Void Warranties” T-Shirt or at least show us you are thorough by
commenting on this point • Localization experience and/or Multi-
lingual (French/German/Spanish)
