QC Software/Peer Review Specialist In this position you will oversee and coordinate the establishment of the eQuality system in both internal labs and customer labs. One of the most important initial functions of this position will be to lead a cross functional team to set up and manage the peer review database. This includes the mapping of Accurun products, part codes, analyses and lot numbers to manufacturer manual kits and automated platforms. Other important duties of the position will include being a proactive liaison between the customer, our software manufacturer and our sales team. Part of the work with sales will be to quote rates for customers, up-sell available programs to suit the needs of our clients and support technical questions regarding the programs. You must possess the ability to not only conduct research that will enable you to understand the hospital/clinical laboratory needs for the software, but be able to make presentations, demos and training sessions to customers. You must have the creative ability to establish an internal system for continually uploading new product lot information into the peer review system. Qualifications: You must have a Bachelors in IT, MIS, Life Sciences or Business plus 3 – 5 years job related experience. You must posses a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with peer review software would be seen as a plus. You must work independently and in a team environment. Because our customers will be spread around the world, odd hours may be required, and extended days may occur. Some overnight travel may be required for installations at customer sites or to attend tradeshows and meetings.
