SQA-Test Engineer * Review and provide input into requirements and specifications * Develop SQA test plans * Work closely with developers on early testing and integration of features and modules * Plan and execute white box testing, including fault insertion * Develop and execute automated regression tests * Develop and execute stress testing regimen to ensure enterprise class scalability and robustness * Contribute to new development, as well as software upgrades and maintenance * Actively participate in the triage and support of customer issues * Contribute to the definition and selection of core technology components related to testing and testability * Develop creative solutions for complex problems while working with cross-functional and distributed teams Essential Skills and Abilities: * B.S. in Computer Science * 4+ years of hands-on experience testing commercial applications and/or modules for client-server and multi-tier architectures * 2+ years of hands-on experience developing test plans and test suites for C#/.Net based applications * Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle * Hands-on experience with automated test tools (one or more of SilkTest, ArtOfTest, WinRunner, etc.) * Experience with basic development and troubleshooting using Visual Studio .Net IDE * Proven track record working with large and globally distributed technical teams * Senior Engineer candidate must have mentored junior test engineers * Strong verbal and written communication skills Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
