QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER Responsibilities: * Identify unintended behavior within a product. Address and resolve any technical abnormalities and bugs found * Test builds and updates to game products to ensure that the content matches intended design. Document bugs and issues found using DevTrack so that developers can replicate the problem and address it. Clearly communicate and track the status of the bug through fix iterations until a confirmed resolution is found Qualifications: * Minimum 1-2 years of related experience * Overtime may be requested due to game fixes/updates or product launches * Possess good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and experience with Microsoft Internet Explorer is required * Database Knowledge: DevTrack/DevTest/Test Track/Merant Tracker * Must be reliable and thorough, and possess excellent attention to detail * Must have good communication skills; verbal and written * Ability to work well with others and independently * Ability to multi-task and perform in challenging environments * Familiarity with technical side of testing for many common issues that may arise during the installation of PC game software a plus * Creativity and problem-solving skills with limited info a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
