Software Tester • Execute manual and automated test suites in support of iterative development schedules. • Create, update, and modify manual functional test specifications. • Create, update, and modify automated functional test suites. • Provide early feedback on new features via requirements and software inspection. • Document, review, and validate corrections for customer reported defects and feature requests. • Communicate progress, risks and test coverage effectively. • Work with the Client Services Organization to determine the severity and priority of customer reported issues. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline. • 3+ years experience in testing web- based, n-tier systems in a .NET/C# environment. • 3+ years experience designing and implementing automated test suites for web-based applications. • Must be self-motivated and dependable, capable of working independently, reliably and being highly accountable. • Experience working with application development tools, such as version control, defect tracking, build management and test management. • Experience working in a SCRUM environment. • Experience with Agile software development principles • Experience with Test Driven Development practices • Working knowledge of the following tools and technologies: --- Visual Studio 2008 Team System (ASP.NET and C#) --- Test Complete --- Watir/Watin --- Microsoft Silverlight --- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook • Comfortable with both verbal and written communication to different audiences and functional teams.
