AAssociate Test Engineer Develop project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines to ensure project information is properly organized and archived. Capture, analyze, define and maintain detailed test equipment requirements that have been sufficiently validated by end-user. Work closely with the test hardware team throughout the project life cycle of test equipment development. Construction, integration, testing, calibration and modification activities necessary to prepare, install and maintain the test equipment. Generation and configuration control of test equipment design documents, calibration procedures, acceptance test procedures, user manual and troubleshooting procedures. Stay current with emerging test equipment software technologies and effectively implement in to new design to improve functionality, cost and reliability. BE/ B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation. 4 - 5 years experience in test equipment design, development and support for avionics applications. Knowledge of Control System, Digital & Analog electronics, transducers and associated instrumentation. Proficiency of test software platforms like LabVIEW, TestStand Experience in any of these is a plus: electro-mechanical test equipments, hydraulics and pneumatic test equipments, real time control systems, dSPACE, Matlab. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with limited supervision.
