Software QA Engineer + Plan feature test projects as needed, participating in design and functional specification reviews + Selecting and deciding upon new and existing regression test execution needs + Creating and maintaining test cases within the test case database + Leading test case reviews with peers within QA and development, updating the test cases as needed + Test planning efforts should include scenario's for functional, scalability and stress/performance testing + Managing testing time and coverage to meet the needs for the given project, ensuring testing is performed thoroughly, executed within the constraints of the overall project + Issues are investigated thoroughly, bugs are raised detailing the issue thoroughly + Bugs are managed to ensure needed verifications are completed within the time constraints of the overall project + Issues with testing are escalated to the team lead and manager as needed. Highlighting issues and impacts before they are impacting the project + Bug and issue reporting is concise, thorough, well investigated and documented + Weekly status's of testing progress and issues are generated and Distributed + Test project results are created, are concise and thorough + Test cases are kept up to date, are current and all are reviewed with development + Maintain and enhance existing system test beds as needed + Work on automating tests to expand the existing automation suite coverage Required Skills * Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with three years work experience, or Bachelors Degree in CS or EE with 5 years work experience in software test engineering including testing of web-based software and/or network applications Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
