Sr Software QA Engineer - Web * Functional, Integration, and System testing of the software * Automate tests to be added to an existing python/ruby test framework * Create and execute Test Plans and Test Cases * Log and track Bugs in the Bug tracking system, and follow them through to resolution * Setup and maintenance of test environment and test software * Testing during release cycles and on-going production test support * 5+ years QA experience testing software * Experience performing integration tests on globally distributed systems. * Prior work experience coding in Python, Ruby, Java or other OOP programming language * Working experience using network analysis tools such as Wireshark, Ethereal, tcpdump * Experience running queries against RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle * Proven ability to translate detailed requirements and technical documentation into Test Plans and Test Cases * Solid analytical skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Background in System Administration or experience setting up and configuring test systems * Experience using Unix-based source control systems such as Subversion, CVS, etc. * Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS, or comparable degree/work experience Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
