Software Quality Assurance Engineer As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer you will provide Quality Assurance guidance to the innovation of next generation medical devices. While partnering with new product development teams that share your passion for quality, you will apply your software, design controls, verification and validation skills sets, and contribute to the development of products that help doctors and clinicians to diagnose and treat patients more effectivel As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will participate in the definition of user needs, review design inputs, establish software design control processes, verify outputs match inputs and validate that the devices meet their intended use. You will also utilize your expertise to develop, review, edit and approve design and development plans as well as software design documents, allowing for the determination that the built product is based on requirements and performing as intended. A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or software engineering, is required. Proven experience in project management and the software development lifecycle is a must. Previous experience in both Windows and embedded development environments is desirable. Experience in the Medical Device industry is preferable, but experience in other highly regulated environments, such as Defense or Aerospace is also acceptable. Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820.30 and an understanding of CQE, CSQE and CRE are particularly desirable.
