Sr. Software Quality Engineer The Sr. Software Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring new software/firmware products meet or exceed customer expectations for quality, reliability, and usability. The Sr. Software QE contributes to research, new product development and standard compliance by defining, allocating, implementing, and demonstrating achievement of Quality and Reliability goals. This position will also support the lifecycle of the product through continual product and process improvement and working with the Failure Analysis Lab to troubleshoot software related field issues. The Sr Software Quality Engineer works under only general direction and independently determines and develops approaches to problem resolution and product or process improvements. The Sr. Software Quality Engineer’s work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. The Sr Software Quality Engineer contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Basic Qualifications Minimum of five to eight years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or three to six years with a Master's degree in Engineering. Three to five years Software Quality Engineering, SW/FW Engineering Design or equivalent experience. Experience in medical device design and application of test standards. Minimum of five years industry experience, preferably in the medical device manufacturing industry.
