Quality Assurance ( QA ) Tester with strong Unix development skills Qualifications 3+ years of automated Quality Assurance testing on object oriented developed applications. Strong experience in the following: Unix, SQL, Quality Center, Load Runner, XML, Java, Shell Scripting. 3+ year of information systems experience; or an equivalent of education and work experience. Minimum of 3+ years working experience in testing applications written in C, C++, Java, Flex, PERL, Python etc. Need to have strong knowledge in Unix shell scripting, writing SQL's, XML, TOAD, MQ testing, WAS application deployment, Clear Case deployments, TOAD, Ultra Edit, QTP, MQ Visual Edit etc. Strong business knowledge of Data products. Fully understands CMP business requirements and utilizes his/her skills to benefit organization as a whole in content development world. Interact with the business, marketing, network and revenue assurance teams and educates them about CMP capabilities. Apply business knowledge to the technical skills and give feedback to internal teams on application flexibility and user friendliness. Works closely with Dev/Req/Operations team in mitigating the problems. Proactively give feedback to requirements team when a business gaps are found during the project life cycle. Demonstrates strong technical and design skills. Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and make decisions that impact projects. Should have advanced analytical and problem solving skills, provides full life-cycle support to new processes and systems. Previous experience leading others. - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent major. .
