Test Engineer * Continuous improvement -- seeks new measurement procedures to improve data quality or add value to measurement results. * Engine and component testing (whole engine dynamometer tests and component/system stand-alone tests) * Failure analysis, troubleshooting activities and problem correction * Component system and whole engine testing from concept to production * Project Management and responsibility for high value test projects * Experience with data analysis, manipulation and presentation and data based decision making * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This includes writing test plans, special instructions, work orders and technical reports. * Knowledge in (or willing to learn) test cell instrumentation * Knowledge in (or willing to learn) Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools * Experience with data acquisition hardware and software * Analytical problem solving skills * Mechanical aptitude * Good planning, presentation, and organizational skills Skills: * Good problem solving skills * Project leadership / management skills * Machine design or component design * Engine dynamometers, engine control and data collection and analysis tools * Ability to work effectively in a team environment with both hourly and exempt employees from multiple organizations * Ability to coordinate work and coach employees from other organizations and departments towards meeting a common goal * Design Verification, Planning and Reporting (DVP&R) * Some experience with engines and internal combustion - Diesel/gas/alt fuel/aero (preferred) * Related intern or coop experience (preferred, but not required) * Practical hands-on experience such as vehicle or home repair (preferred) Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
