QA Software Developer *Develop test plans/cases within an agile framework. *Ensure features achieve the desired level of functional flow and quality. *Actively participate in establishing project and sprint plans, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones. Act as QA lead on projects. *Heavily influence the options for 'building in' testability during design and development phases *Strategically identify new tools and techniques. *Contribute to the implementation of automation principles, define best practices, lead the adoption of technologies and tools that drive efficiencies throughout the team. *Handle multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. *Produce and maintain useful and usable documentation of work, and contribute regularly in Wiki format to the general Engineering body of knowledge. *5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer testing multi-tier web applications. *Understanding of QA/Test and automation methodologies. *Proficiency with automation tools. *Experience with distributed environments in a Microsoft Windows Server, Web and applications servers and SQL Server topology *Good understanding of source management techniques and discipline. *Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment preferred. *Proven problem solving aptitude.
