Automated Software QA Job Responsibilities: * Review and provide input to requirements/design documents * Identify test cases from requirements/use cases * Extract test cases from requirements specifications * Design/develop detailed test cases * Execute and maintain test cases * Develop testing requirements matrix * Develop expert knowledge in application areas assigned * Coordinate defect closure/resolution * Develop detailed test plans * Train/mentor Test Engineer 1 & 2 * Develop expert knowledge across entire application * Lead testing initiatives * Execute SQL commands to manage data * Estimate testing effort * Assess project risks * Analyze defect trends * Review and provide input to installation, implementation, and training materials * Support alpha and beta testers * Work with automation resources to develop scripts * Prepare test summary report Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field OR equivalent work experience in related field * 3+ years automated software testing experience * Strong team player/ leader * Familiar with a variety of testing concepts, practices, and procedures * Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and roles * Strong critical thinking and analytical skills * Negotiating and consensus-building skills * Ability to recognize issues and trouble-shoot resolution * Customer-focused/service oriented * Excellent verbal and written skills * Attention to detail * Ability to multi-task Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
