SQA Analyst • Solid experience in Quality Assurance in a software development environment including creating test plans, test cases and reporting • A proven track record of identifying and isolating complex issues related to the interaction and usage of dependent parts of software • Knowledge of test methodologies, requirement analysis and familiarity with the software development lifecycle • Excellent technical knowledge of all Microsoft Windows operating systems and solid knowledge of hardware • Advanced skills in MS Office products (especially Excel and Word) • To isolate defects and issues at the component level for more complete and useful defect reporting • To report test results and defect metrics. Perform basic analysis on the resulting data • To review and provide feedback on product specification, design, and user documentation • Outstanding testing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment • To prioritize and meet or exceed required timelines • To handle tight deadlines and enjoy working with changing focus and priorities in a fast-paced environment • The ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter, and have excellent problem solving skills • A positive attitude and strong teamwork • Quality Assurance experience in a software development environment (1-3 years) • Experience in implementing test methodologies, Test Plans and Test Cases • Experience in developing tests from requirements analysis and working with the software development lifecycle • Understanding of and prior exposure to Windows operating systems • Prior exposure to system tools and understanding of the different effects it may have on computers and networks • Understanding of and prior exposure to security software (antivirus, firewall, anti- spyware) • Exposure to VMWare • Knowledge of or experience working with enterprise systems and complex network environments Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
