IT Quality Analyst Technology • Author & develop software quality control test plans and test cases that effectively and efficiently test software and content developments and updates. • Develop & implement software quality control testing scripts & procedures. • Develop scripts/tools to automate routinely performed tasks. • Develop & implement automated testing scripts & procedures. • Develop & implement regression testing scripts & procedures. • Program, author & test XSLT scripts & documents to enable automatic population of forms within content/ document systems. • Develop scripts & automated processes & tools to perform database and product configuration related tasks. • Produces well-written & detailed system requirements & functional specifications documentation • Prepares and conducts presentations for various user areas and staff levels, including management • Coaches less-experienced staff members in a mentor-type relationship • Is responsible for one or more projects that financially impact the company; errors can cause substantial delay, expense, and inefficiency within the company • Influences and negotiates with other work teams • Interacts and collaborates with team members and other teams in a cooperative spirit • Fosters an environment in which others are encouraged to be innovative • Represents the company externally with customers and industry groups. • Understands the impact of new projects and technical changes on other areas • Understands strategic vision at the business unit level • Collaborates with peers, architects, and managers to determine project strategy and how to implement it • Implements project strategy • Sets performance and team goals that are consistent with business goals • Interprets business goals and understands how to implement them • Identifies and ensures that short-term goals are achieved Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years experience in a Software Quality Control role. • 3+ years hands on SQL coding skills and strong knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008.
