Hardware Quality Assurance Test Lead # Work with Quality Assurance Test Manager in developing and implementing test plans, test specifications, procedures, and methodologies. # Work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering teams during product development to provide inputs to product functional specifications. # Manage test requests to efficiently manage staff, test equipment resources and project priorities. # Investigate new technologies and become a subject matter expert in all areas of responsibility. # Knowledge and use of various test instrumentation including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, loads, etc. # Participate in design reviews to offer design solutions to failures and anomalies uncovered during product testing. # Software/Hardware quality testing (Embedded or application/Network, KVM and AV products) # Root cause failure analysis. # Publish test reports / results to provide reliable information in a clear and concise manner that can be utilized for making sound engineering choices. # Continuously improve the efficiency and efficacy in test execution, data gathering, reporting and bug tracking # Assist in the procurement of test equipment and commercial test software where applicable to support test requirements. # Work with all functional groups to ensure that lessons learned are captured and incorporated into new product designs and development processes. # Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment. # Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support IS0 system. # Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system. # Maintain a safe and clean work environment. # Understand and follow company rules and regulations. # Ability to travel domestically and internationally # Perform all other duties as assigned and required. Education and Experience Requirements: * BS degree in technical field (e.g. EE, ME, Computer Science, etc.) required, MS degree a plus.
