Quality Assurance Engineer/Auditor * Works with customer and project personnel to understand applications, requirements and standards used for each project * Creates and maintains project-specific QA plans, processes and schedules from customer and organizational requirements * Provides process guidance to assigned projects recommending organizational standard processes and any tailoring when appropriate * Ensures quality of deliverables via peer reviews and QA reviews using selected criteria and checklists * Monitors requirements and software development, qualification testing, and product releases * Conducts process and product audits to ensure compliance with plans, procedures, standards, and requirements * Documents findings and observations, issues corrective actions and opportunities for improvement * Monitors and track all findings and action items to closure; escalating when necessary * Tracks and reports status of programs and organizational groups QA activities * Must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills * Must be able to work in a team setting with all levels of the organization * Experience with version control, formal control, configuration management and data management * Understanding of verification and validation processes, including early software defect detection and removal, inspection, and testing methods * Experience with CMMI and auditing * This is not a QA Test role, but a QA Analyst position for auditing process areas and work products * Must have 4+ years as a Quality Assurance Analyst and at least 7 years overall experience in a software or systems development organization * B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline is a plus * Experience with system and software processes within a CMMI and/or ISO 9001 environment * ASQ certification a plus (CMQ, CQA, CQE and/or CSQE) Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
